Getting your PestManagement Licence
In Queensland you will need to complete both the general pest management and timber pest management courses. After completion, submit your Statement of Attainments for both courses to QLD Health. They will issue your licence. You can then also add ‘Termite Management – Chemical’ licence with the QBCC if you like.
In all other states and territories, the requirements differ. Please contact the licensing authority in your particular region to confirm if you are required to obtain a license to inspect and report on pests. This should be done prior to enrolling in this course.
Additionally, we recommend contacting an insurer to confirm their requirements to enable you to get professional indemnity and broad form public liability insurances. Again, this should be done prior to enrolling in this course.
